Hershey's Store in Niagara Falls

I was at Niagara Falls, Ontario today showing a few friends around and went into the great Hershey's store!
They totally amped up their cute selections! There were so many things!
It reminded me of the Sugar Factory in Vegas.

I saw these bear cupcakes on display and I wish I had bought one. They were amazingly cute. I still say the best cupcakes I've ever had in Ontario are from We Bake In Heels at Vaughan Mills.

Opi I Eat Mainely Lobster Swatch & Review

My friend gave this to me last week and I wanted this polish for so long and finally got it (unexpectedly)!
I don't like shimmery nail polish (which I don't recall it being when I first landed my eyes on it last year) so I wasn't too excited about it.
Then I tried it on and was surprised that it actually wasn't shimmery! It's a really nice colour. I did add more stuff to my mani but I do really like the colour on its own. 
I did two coats but one is fine too.

Opi Miami Beet Review & Swatch

I love red nail polish! I have too many and always say they're not the same shade just so I can buy another one.
This past winter I was feeling bored with my usual colours and went into Sally's with a friend. Opi was having a deal because they had just come to Sally's.
How could I resist? So I found Miami Beet. I love it!!
I'm only using one coat below but you can do two if you want it to be intense. It is a much darker shade indoors or in the shade but it's one of my favourite red but not red polishes.


Potato Stuffed Jumbo Shells

Ingredients:

10 jumbo pasta shells
1 medium yellow potato
1 teaspoon vegan butter
1 tablespoon Philadelphia cream cheese
A few lemon juice drops
A few sprinkles of garlic powder
Oregano
Grated Parmesan cheese
Tomato sauce

How To:

Boil the potato first as it takes longer. Make sure it's really soft (like you're going to make mashed potatoes).
Once it's ready drain the water and peel the potato. Put the potato in a soup bowl and run cold water over it. 
Get another pot and boil the jumbo shells. 
Cut the potatoes and mash them with the vegan butter. Then add the cream cheese and mix it. Sprinkle a bit of garlic powder (not a lot) and mix it again. Add a few drops of lemon (spread the drops not in one spot) and mix. Taste the mashed potatoes, if it doesn't have a tangy taste to it add a bit more lemon juice. 
Set it aside and drain the shells. Run cold water over the shells so they aren't too hot when you stuff them. 
On an oven safe dish, cover the bottom with tomato sauce and sprinkle garlic powder on it. Stuff the jumbo shells with a teaspoon. 
Place the jumbo shells on the dish and use a bit more of tomato sauce around the shells if needed. Sprinkle oregano and Parmesan cheese over the shells. 
Cover the dish with tin foil, poke holes on the foil. 
Bake at 400F for about 20 minutes.


The Carrie Diaries Silver Eye Makeup Inspiration

Lately I've been obsessed with The Carrie Diaries, mostly for the retro fashion! I've discovered I'm an eighties chick; all the bright colours, prints, bags, shoes...
On the second season opener she had on this silver-y eye makeup that I loved but can't find online anywhere. Hers was a night time look so I decided to make a day time look! 

I found this picture from the show but this isn't the makeup I'm referring to above.

Products used:

Silver eyeshadow: it's on a palette by Elf.
Silver eyeliner on the corners: Hard Candy.
Mac Paradisco eyeshadow on the crease.
Mac Tete-a-tint eyeshadow on the outer corner.
L'Oreal black eyeliner.
Brown eyeliner on the bottom : Essence. 
White eyeliner on the waterline: Annabelle.
Lipgloss: Rimmel London Pink Pop.
