So I was inspired to write about work wear, which can be used for interviews as well. I love work wear and it is what I mostly buy. Work wear is does not have to be boring - even if your office is casual. Some say it is okay to wear heels to an interview, I'd say that looks a bit intimidating. At the office, it is fine, but try to keep it in neutral tones with hints of colour. Wedges are a great substitute for heels.
The Inspirations
Suggestions for Interview Wear:
Pair it with a black or navy blazer.
No chunky earrings, bracelets or necklaces.

Wear brown or beige flats.
Suggestions for Interview Wear:
No big, gold/silver watches.
Pair this with a fitted (not super skinny) dress pant - preferably black. See end of post.
Play with light, subtle colours for dress shirts/button downs
(e.g. a fitted light blue thin-striped dress shirt)

If the dress shirt is too bulky or large, tuck into pants.
Suggestions for Interview Wear:
Make sure the skirt isn't too short, closer to the knees is always a safe option.
Opt for a looser button-down shirt instead of a tank top - tuck into skirt.
Or even a satin halter top could work.
Light brown flats.
Second Option (similar look)
Suggestions for Interview Wear:
Wear the blazer above or a beige blazer.
