Healthy Smoothie Series: Papaya Smoothie!
Ingredients:
Half of a papaya
Milk (skim)
1 tablespoon regular oatmeal (if you want a fibre kick) **
1 teaspoon quinoa flakes (if you want a protein kick) **
2 tablespoons vanilla yogurt (I prefer Greek)
How To:
Remove the seeds and skin(?) from the papaya and chop it up in small pieces. Add the ingredients (oatmeal and quinoa are optional) into a blender or magic bullet and mix it until it's smooth. Add the milk until the blender's almost full. You can add ice cubes to it too!
